Have you ever heard of “The Twelve Tribes of Israel”? They were the tribes that ruled throughout Israel. Each tribe was headed by one of the twelve sons Jacob, who was renamed by God as “Israel.” And of course, Jacob is one of Isaac’s sons (Isaac-sons = Saxons? I digress).

Did you know ten of the tribes became known as “The 10 Lost Tribes of Israel”? Yep, they headed west out of Israel and got lost in history for several thousand years.
